Del B
Few names in Afrobeats carry the same weight, versatility, and consistency as Del B. For over two decades, the multi-talented producer, singer-songwriter, and instrumentalist has shaped the sound of modern African music, seamlessly blending his mastery of the guitar, piano and drums with cutting edge production that resonates far beyond the continent. Born Ayodele Basil and raised in a family where music is life, Del B has since ingrained his imprint in the African music scene producing back-to-back hits for KCee, Wizkid, Runtown, Mr Eazi and many others. His productions have birthed the likes of " Shake" by Flavour, “Mad Over You” by Runtown, “Tilapia” by Mr. Eazi & Davido, “Gbese” by Wizkid & Trey Songz, and "Like" by Reekado Banks & Tiwa Savage. Beyond the accolades and achievements, his humanity and experiences keep him grounded and connected to the essence of music, storytelling, community, and emotions, making him a true authentic creative whose artistry is clearly evident in his body of works. Hence, befitting of the nickname given by Wizkid - "DelBeast". A true Sound Beast.
