A Nigerian multi-hyphenate, he is the voice behind seminal Afropop hits such as "Pour Me Water," "Skin Tight," and "Leg Over," as well as groundbreaking collaborations with the likes of Beyoncé and J Balvin. He is also the creator of Banku Music, a fusion of Ghanaian and Nigerian sounds and culture. To date, he has amassed over 4 billion streams of his songs across digital music platforms, making him one of the most streamed African artists worldwide.
In addition to his musical achievements, Mr Eazi is a successful entrepreneur who has founded several groundbreaking ventures. In 2018, he founded emPawa Africa, a talent incubator program aimed at guiding and accelerating the careers of African artists. The program's innovative approach to expanding African music's global reach has earned Mr Eazi and emPawa Africa recognition from major media outlets like CNN, Rolling Stone, Billboard, and Forbes.
He is also the founder of Zagadat Capital, a venture capital fund launched in 2021. Through this fund, he has invested in numerous African tech startups, demonstrating his commitment to supporting African entrepreneurship.
Despite his focus on business ventures and expanding opportunities for African creatives, Mr Eazi has not lost touch with his own music. In 2023, he will be releasing two full-length album projects.
