Sami-K is a celebrated Ugandan worship leader, recording artist, songwriter, and producer whose music ministry spans over two decades. Based in Kampala, he leads Praise City, a Band that gathers worshippers from various backgrounds. Since founding the Journey Man ProjeKT, Sami-K has built a collaborative platform for artists across East Africa to deliver messages that bridge cultural, generational, and denominational divides. Known for mentoring prominent Ugandan gospel artists like Levixone, Robin San, and the late Mac Elvis, Sami-K has been instrumental in shaping Uganda’s urban gospel scene with his dynamic vocal style, engaging melodies, and genre-defying albums. His influence as a trailblazer in urban gospel was recognized in 2024 when he received a lifetime achievement award from The Royal Gospel Awards for his outstanding contributions to the industry. Sami-K's music legacy, marked by passion and impact, inspires new generations of gospel artists and audiences alike.
