Lázaro Marcial Jiménez Cordero (Born February 26, 1990) is a Cuban-American singer & songwriter professionally known as Xhey whose stage name comes from his late great uncle whom he wanted to honor by bearing his name as an artist. His influences since childhood vary from different artists and genres such as Michael Jackson Usher Backstreet Boys Earth, Wind & Fire & Marc Anthony among others. As a teenager Xhey started writing poems and songs which overtime helped him develop as an establish songwriter. Soon he would start independently releasing music under his own label "Marcianos Entertaiment & performing in cities across the country such as Miami, New York & Las Vegas growing his fan base across the states. 2019 he lands his first recording contract & his first single Dilemma is released & quickly gained popularity in and out of the US, Debuting #1 in countries like Venezuela & Colombia. His first EP 20/20 Vision was released shortly after & it combines the work of several producers & songwriters such as Oscarcito Rodolfo Castillo. Following the success of Dilemma which helped Xhey grown his fan base significantly across latin america as he continued to release independently. Up until early 2023 where he decides to sign with long time friend and mentor Alex Vip under panda entertaiment and they are currently working on the next single "Nubes" which is set to be release soon
