Initially joining OVO as part of Drake's entourage, Baka Not Nice's talent and raw energy were quickly recognized by the OVO Sound crew. Signed in 2017 by OVO Sound, Baka swiftly made a name for himself with his powerful first single, “Live Up to My Name.” Baka opened for Drake's U.K. Assassination Vacation arena tour in 2019 and instantly forged a place in Toronto’s arsenal of hip-hop talent. In the same year, he released a 3-track EP titled ‘no long talk.’ with the hit “My Town”, which was featured in the Netflix drama Top Boy and the show’s official soundtrack. He released his new single “UP” in 2019.
