Laud
Tumisang Kekana, known as Laud, was born on September 29, 1997, in Hammanskraal, South Africa, and raised by his grandmother before moving to Atteridgeville. He attended Laudium Heights Primary School and began his musical journey in high school at the Free Baptist Church in Vanderbijlpark, where he learned to play the drums. Laud started with deep house tracks, transitioned to hip hop beats, and ultimately found his niche in Amapiano. In mid-2020, he collaborated with producer DJ Visca, gaining recognition in the music scene. Since then, he has worked with artists such as MFR Souls, Ntokzin, DJ Stokie, Stakev, Sha Sha, Daliwonga, Mthunzi, Bassie, Busi N, Luu Nineleven, and Njelic on hits like "Abadala."
