Ok so I gotta let you in on a secret - Mitchel Dae isn't my real name. How did I become Mitchel Dae? I'm glad you asked. I experience severe ADHD. I can do some real damage to street tacos. I've been married to my best friend since 2017. We have have two pet rabbits named Barnaby and Burd. I'm originally from Massachusetts, and I went to UMass Amherst thinking I wanted to become a lawyer. Midway through college I realized I would be the world's WORST lawyer, so I started writing music to help process the uncertainty and doubt I felt about the future. Despite horrible odds and no experience, I made the jump and moved to Nashville, working all sorts of crazy jobs to pay the bills while I chased the dream of connecting with people through music. It blows my mind that now I get to make music as my "full time job", and we're just getting started. I hope you know that you're incredible, especially with all you've been through. I am so grateful for you, and I hope the music helps you see yourself clearly, especially the parts you've been told not to like.
