Roman Arsafes is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and producer, mostly known as the mastermind of the Dharmic Metal band KARTIKEYA. Having an extremely broad musical taste, Roman could never find peace in expressing himself through the means of a single band, so he created his eclectic solo project ARSAFES in which he could finally combine all the elements he wanted - from Middle Eastern traditional music, R'n'B and Prog Rock to Industrial Metal, Synthwave and Jazz/Fusion. Even though Roman plays many different instruments, he considers the guitar to be his main instrument and composing tool. Through the years he has developed a unique guitar style and sound, incorporating techniques used by Oud and Sitar players and blending them with Prog Rock/Fusion licks.
