Somewhere in between fresh neo-soul, Alt- R&B, and Alt-Pop with a hint of jazz and latin influences, Lia J colours her musical canvas in shades of blinded optimism, toxic love, wishful thinking, levity, and the bliss of life. With disarming honesty, a big portion of self-irony and compelling flow, she peels back the layers of her inner world. On the upcoming album “Mid 20s” with Bastido, she processes the personal struggles of one’s twenties and wraps them up in witty-humor, subtle irony, and a tinge of criticism. She’s currently working on her debut-album „Globe“, set to be released in 2025. “Globe” is inspired by her admiration for lively rhythms and dives into different musical cultures, in collaboration with artists from all over the world.
