Karen Lee Orzolek is a South Korean-born American musician. She is noted for her ethereal and emotive vocals, as well as her energetic performances and eccentric fashion. In 2023, Karen O was included on Rolling Stone's list of the "200 Greatest Singers of All Time". Karen O rose to fame as a member and lead vocalist of the band Yeah Yeah Yeahs, whose hit singles include "Maps" and "Heads Will Roll". In her solo career, she has released two albums and composed several film soundtracks, often working with Spike Jonze, which netted her nominations at the Academy Awards and Grammy Awards.
