BABET

Babette van Vugt (born in Holland on the 13th of June 1994), better known as Babet is a singer and songwriter. As a young child she already had a big passion for music, she taught herself to play the piano, guitar and a little drum. Energetic as she is, she competed in many national dance competitions. When her career started she performed at one of the biggest stages of Tomorrowland singing to a crowd a little over 40 thousand people, sang at he Formula 1 in Abu Dhabi, and was a special guest on Robbie Williams his show in Amsterdam. As a songwriter she wrote songs for several other Artists around the world, taking her to many places such as Nashville, London, Dubai and Bangkok. In 2016 she released her first song under Sony Music ‘’Like that You Hate Me’’. In 2019 Babet partnered with Universal Music, and started preparing her first major releases with her renewed and refreshed sound. Last summer she released 2 tracks ‘’Chameleon’’ and ‘’Third eye’’ which was followed up by ‘’1 op een Miljoen’’ with Metejoor from Belgium. This was the first time Babet released a song in her own language and with incredible results! Charted within the top 40 NL and on number #1 in listing of Belgium. We can expect a lot more from Babet.
