Osman Mir was born(22 May 1974) in Vayor, Kutch, Gujarat, India in a lower-class family. His father, Husenbhai, was a tabla player at Gujarati folk called Bhajan and Santvani. Osman Mir was interested in music from his childhood. He has passed his high school education, 9th pass from Bhulabhai Mansinh Vidhyalay, Layja and said good bye to study then eventually he started learning Tabla from his father at very early age and started performing Tabla on live events with his father at the age of 13. He started his career as Tabla player with late Shree Narayan Swami.
