Versatility is at his core; from heavy DnB to mainstream interludes, his live DJ sets and self-produced music have topped charts and wowed crowds from his hometown of Shepshed all the way to the Czech Republic. His spark for electronic music ignited after hearing Skrillex’s seminal dubstep numbers ‘Bangarang’ and ‘Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites’. His first forays into DJ’ing came aged 12 after being gifted a pair of Numark decks for Christmas, with a passion for producing following not long after. For Samstone, nothing matches the energy of a live crowd; capturing the moment with the audience in his palm is everything. He’s played multiple shows across the UK and Europe, cementing his reputation as one of the country’s hottest new DJs and producers going into 2024. His peers have also showcased his music at their live sets, including Hedex during his DnB Allstars 360 set. Ultimately, with Samstone continuing to refine his techniques, showcase his musical versatility and relish the experience of playing to live crowds, he is already achieving his most humble yet honest goal as an artist: to play his music out into the world for others to hear.
