Bass supergroup The Wellermen were discovered during the viral Sea Shanty trend of early 2021. The four members' Bobby Waters & Luke Taylor based in the US and Jonny Stewart & Sam Pope lives were to change when they dueted with a seemingly innocuous ‘Sea Shanty’ (Wellerman) on TikTok. The Wellermen have used their moment of unexpected virality for lasting good, as their much anticipated debut album was released on the 10th of Feb 2023. The Wellermen have a global fan base consisting of a combined 15M+ following, having now racked up 110 million + streams across all platforms. The group have gone onto release eight singles, over 45M views, grown their TikToks to a combined 10M+, featured in Forbes Magazine, featured at #4 in Germany’s Spotify Viral Chart.
