Rath (real name: Priyanshu Sharma) is a fiercely versatile rapper from Mukundgarh, Rajasthan, now repping Jaipur as his karmabhoomi. Known for his range — from hardcore trap and drill to poetic soul, indie, lofi, metal rap and house — Rath isn’t bound by genre. His music is rooted in personal stories, lived truths, and lyrical craftsmanship, blending storytelling, delivery, and poetry into every verse. Influenced by Eminem’s rawness, J. Cole’s introspection, and Mohit Chauhan’s emotion, Rath’s discography mirrors both depth and diversity. His debut LP Mutate marked the beginning of his legacy, while Meant to Happen showcased a surprising emotional departure from what people expected. He’s the founder of 3020rhymes, a grassroots movement pushing hip-hop culture forward in Jaipur. With 50+ cyphers, 10+ live shows, and collaborations across the scene, Rath is building not just songs — but a whole soundscape. Beyond rap, he’s dabbled in artist management and is passionate about nurturing talent around him. Driven by the simple desire to make music for life and support his family, Rath’s larger mission is clear — to go so hard that India never forgets there was a rapper from Rajasthan who broke through it all.
