My name is Serhii Chachanidze, also known as Chacha. My musical journey began in the city of Kharkiv, where I created my first lyrical and poetic band, "Nietzsche Wept", as a kind of sublimation and therapy. The name of the band refers to a book by the existential psychiatrist Irwin Yalom, which is quite symbolic.
Over time, music began to occupy an increasingly large part of my life, and from a hobby it turned into a passion that still possesses me to this day. Greedily absorbing various sounds, styles, moods, information, I began to create music that combines hip-hop, RnB, rock, jazz, classical, electronic music, and ethnic elements. My sound covers a wide period of time, from the post-modern 70s to the 90s, when musicians were searching for new forms and combinations, to the present, when the form has reached its peak, there are already proven working formulas, and the only thing that can really distinguish you is your personal context and content.
I do this for you as for myself. Sincerely yours, Chacha.
