A singer, actress, television host, philanthropist, and global brand, Christina Aguilera is a true childhood star success story. As a young girl raised in New York and Pennsylvania, Christina began performing on the big stage on programs such as Star Search and The Mickey Mouse Club. After a few cameo appearances on the big screen, Aguilera also took a turn in the acting industry with a leading role in the 2010 movie Burlesque. Each of Aguilera's albums features varying degrees of multi-genre musical influences, keeping both fans and critics on their toes. However, each song on every album shares one consistent sound: her powerful, four-octave voice. She has headlined 4 promotional tours and received countless musical awards and industry recognition, including 4 Grammy Awards, 1 Latin Grammy Award, 2 MTV Video Music Awards, 3 Billboard Music Awards, 2 Billboard Latin Music Awards, and many, many, more. Rolling Stone magazine has ranked Aguilera number 58 on its list of 100 Greatest Singers of All Time, while Billboard named her the twentieth most successful artist of the 2000's- neither a surprise when considering Christina has sold over 50 million records worldwide throughout her career. Aguilera was also an original judge and music coach on the hit television talent show, The Voice. In any medium of entertainment, Christina Aguilera continues to be an unstoppable force.
