Sheldon Smith otherwise known as Deva Bratt grew up with a deep love for music school from his days at Alpha Boy Schools. He 1st recorded a track called "Na Na Na" produced by Cyber Tech which started to give him recognition among his community and fans at the local karaoke which he used to perform. He then started his first group called Islanders where he continued to record songs with the other members for the group, which started moving the crowds in Portmore and Kingston and slowly gain airplay nationwide, however the group did not last because of the different views within group, so they decide to go their separate ways but he continue on his musical path. Deva Bratt scores his first hit singles "Bungle A Gal" and "Gussy Clarke" in 2007, instantly establishing himself as a rising hardcore dancehall artist, the song's combination of catchy and infectious lyrics represented of his versatility. As he continues to rise to the top, quality music is all he will offer to both the hardcore lovers of dance hall music and the fans of authentic reggae music.
