Hi, my name is Arjun Bhat aka The AJ Sound and my vision is to bring the gift of Indian Pop to the globe. I am a (currently New Zealand based) singer, composer and producer and I started making music in 2013 whilst learning the guitar and doing cover songs with the likes of Shirley Setia, Avish Sharma & Kanik Mongia. In 2020, I began my journey as an official artist, making english music in the style of Ed Sheeran, Post Malone and Ali Gatie. By 2023, I had developed my own sound and released my debut Indian Pop single "Har Janam", which the market responded to really well; hence followed up with "Teri Hasi" on Valentines day. "Teri Hasi" was an instant hit with my friends and began to spread virally gaining me lots of new fans globally but primarily in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. By September 2023, my debut album "Pieces of THE AJ SOUND" was complete ; scheduled for release in Nov 2023. This album will mark the beginning of a new era for Indian Pop.
