Poiison
Poiison is an innovative artist and songwriter from Queens, NY, bending genres and expectations with a sound that fuses melodic hip-hop, Latin rap, and R&B into something unmistakably her own. A proud product of NYC, Poiison has already carved a powerful lane, opening for 50 Cent, touring with Shordie Shordie, and recently wrapping a 6-city run with Kevin Gates. Her collaborations span respected names across the culture, including Styles P, 2Rare, Fergie Baby, Cash Cobain, Sha Money XL, and more. Her artistry traces back to the church pews she sat in with her mother, where her curiosity for instruments and sound first took root. By eight, she was playing drums. By fifth grade, she was commanding school stages and igniting audiences—early flashes of the presence she carries today. That spark has since grown into a dedicated fan base and a touring force, and solidified her as an artist with real pull, conviction, and connection. In 2025, she delivered two standout EPs—Pretty Pain and Love Money Art—each reflecting her duality: vulnerable yet bold, melodic yet raw, feminine with a sharpened street edge. Pulling inspiration from icons like Madonna, Sade, Rick James, and Lil Wayne, Poiison channels a wide musical palette into a distinct, addictive sound that sits confidently outside the mold. 2026 will mark a defining new chapter with La Madrina Vol 2—a bilingual collection of originals and reimagined covers—setting the stage for what promises to be her most impactful year yet.
