PSJ (Praneeth Sasanka Padukka), born June 6, 1996, is a Sri Lankan DJ, record producer, songwriter, remixer, ghost producer, and music lecturer based in Colombo. Known for his dedication to electronic music production, PSJ has built his career through independent learning, creative discipline, and a passion for global EDM culture. Inspired by witnessing Hardwell’s performance at Tomorrowland 2015, PSJ began his journey into music production the same year, downloading FL Studio 11 and teaching himself through online resources. His commitment to self-education quickly translated into original releases, marking his international debut in 2015 with the single “Lost Roses.” In 2016, PSJ founded Mafia Family Group Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd, a music company that operates in collaboration with Sony Music Entertainment, expanding his role beyond artistry into music entrepreneurship. He released his debut album, So Far Away, in 2017, further establishing his presence in the electronic music scene. Today, PSJ continues to evolve as an artist and educator, contributing to the growth of Sri Lanka’s electronic music industry while maintaining an international outlook through production, collaboration, and mentorship.
