Vreid

Vreid rose from the ashes of Windir in 2004 and have since become Norwegian metal icons with more than 30 years of history behind them. Blending cold black metal with the pulse of 70s rock and 80s heavy metal, they have shaped a sound that is both rooted in Sognametal and constantly evolving. They have played hundreds of shows in more than 25 countries and are known for their powerful live presence and their lyrical focus on war, resistance, nature and the darker corners of the human mind. Vreid are now entering a new chapter with new music on the horizon, carrying their legacy forward while continuing to push into new territory.
