Ruggo
Ruggo is a young artist emerging out of the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, CA. Born July 20 2002, to a family that encouraged artistic expression, Ruggo found himself developing a unique sound at a young age. Ruggo started writing at 13 and performing at 14. Influenced by the nostalgic songs of the early 2000s, to the uptick in new music, his sound is a full mix of this new generation’s energy and grooves of eras prior. Ruggo has recently become the youngest artist to secure a residency at After Church LA, curated by Multi-Platinum & Grammy Award winning Producer, MyGuy Mars. Constantly performing during 2020-2021 Ruggo’s focus was and still now is, on nurturing good working relationships & brand building. May of 2022 Ruggo opened for D. Smoke at the Majestic Ventura Theater, followed by a self-headlining "Ruggo and Friends" Pop Up Show at the Milk Room in Woodland Hills, Jun 2023. Ruggo featured as a guest talent performer the same month on Dejon Paul’s: LA RAP REPORT CARD Live Contest. MYGUYMARS guided Ruggo’s sound heavily with the "Art Dealers, Vol. 1, Art Dealers, Vol. 2" EPs, segueing into Ruggo's newer works. Ruggo’s fourth full body project “Home 4 Now” is long anticipated and confirmed to be in the works. The artist's music has been featured on FM Radio stations: Q95.9FM, 100.9FM, KCSB 99.1FM, Accelerated Radio’s Str8OutdaTrunk Radio Show, Dash Radio’s Kaliente Girls on Dash Discover, also on "Live N Direct" with Chuckdizzle of HomeGrown Radio on 92.3LA.
