Semwal is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer emerging as one of the most promising voices in new-age Punjabi pop music. Hailing from Chandigarh, he is a self-taught musician who has built his artistry from the ground up - blending contemporary global sounds with Punjabi lyrical sensibilities. Beyond his solo career, he is also an accomplished guitarist who has performed and collaborated with some of the biggest names in Indian music, including Karan Aujla, Diljit Dosanjh, Jordan Sandhu, Arijit Singh, Badshah, Sunanda Sharma, Desi Crew, KAKA, Nimrat Khaira, Gippy Grewal, and Jassie Gill, among others. His journey reflects both versatility and depth - from performing on large stages alongside established artists to creating a distinct identity as an independent voice. Semwal’s music stands at the intersection of tradition and innovation, appealing strongly to Gen-Z and young millennial audiences.
