TVXQ!, meaning "The Rising Gods of the East," is a Korean pop group formed in 2003.
Since their debut, TVXQ! has been hailed as the "Legend of K-Pop" due to their immense success and significant contributions to Hallyu and Korean pop culture.In 2013, TVXQ! dominated the Oricon single chart 12 times and achieved the No. 1 sales ranking with three consecutive albums on Oricon’s weekly album sales charts,
surpassing the previous record set by American rock band Bon Jovi. That same year, TVXQ! became the first Korean group to tour Japan's five major domes,
successfully completing 18 concerts in 7 cities with a total attendance of 850,000 people, setting a new record for the highest number of attendees in a single concert tour.
A decade later, in 2023, TVXQ! set another milestone by recording the most performances at Tokyo Dome and other domes across Japan by a foreign artist, underscoring their immense and enduring popularity.Most recently, in celebration of their 20th debut anniversary, TVXQ! released their 9th full-length album, “20&2,” which quickly topped global music charts.
