Greatest Friends
Born in the Yvelines area of France in the mid-2000s, Greatest Friends Records is first and foremost a story of friendship, sound systems, home studios and a deep passion for reggae music in all its forms. Since 2005, the label has been building its own universe between roots reggae, dancehall, dub and Caribbean influences, working with artists from France, Jamaica, Trinidad and beyond. Releases such as Long Life, Angela, Tough, One Blood One Love, Best Life, alongside productions featuring Micah Shemaiah, Queen Omega, Prince Theo, Rojah B, Future Irie, Chezidek, Patou Mangamba, King Lorenzo and more recently Vanzo, reflect the label’s identity: authentic, independent and future-minded. In 2025, Greatest Friends Records reached a new milestone by officially becoming a French SAS company and obtaining SACEM publishing status, with the ambition to further professionalize its vision while keeping the creative freedom and independent spirit of the early days. Today, the label develops its projects alongside partners such as Evidence Music and Baco Music for digital distribution, while continuing to connect with its community through music videos, studio sessions and exclusive content. More than a label, Greatest Friends Records stands for a certain vision of music: independent, sincere and connected to real human vibrations. One family. One sound. Greatest Friends.
