Vandana Srinivasan is a prominent singer, songwriter, performer, recording artist, and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Doha, Vandana’s culturally rich childhood nurtured her diverse musical interests with training in Carnatic and Hindustani music. She currently trains in Hindustani music under Guruji Shri Koushik Aithal.
Vandana debuted as a playback singer in the South Indian film industry in 2014 and has since sung for music directors like GV Prakash Kumar and D Imman. She has become a well-known voice in the industry with over 100 film and independent songs across various languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
Routinely dawning a saree with ease and grace, Vandana is committed to changing narratives by empowering young women to be bold and confident while encouraging them to embrace culture in their own way. She runs Musicalorie Productions & ānā Stories with her partner Anand Pattathil, through which they have set-up several successful business ventures including The Madras Mehfil Collective. The Madras Mehfil Collective is a platform that remains deeply committed to preserving the rich traditions of Hindustani music and specializes in Ghazals, Bhajans, Sufi, and semi-classical genres.
