Jessie Lee Thetford

singer / songwriter / recording artist Based in Colorado, Jessie Lee Thetford crosses the genres of alternative folk, pop rock, and EDM. With beginnings as a pop rock songwriter, she eventually self-released her first 14 track album, AWAKE, in 2014. Further exploration led her into alternative folk territory, working closely with Leadville sound engineer and producer, Tim Stroh. Feeling drawn towards organic session production, a touch of folk instrumentation, and raw, soaring vocals, JLT's unreleased project leans into the vulnerable spaces that confessional singer-songwriting often calls home. Over the years, the stages have grown: House of Blues Unplugged in Vegas, a 300 seat Singer-Songwriter Showcase at the historic Tabor Opera House, women’s conferences, two main stage BBQ & Brewfests at the top of the Rockies in Leadville, Colorado. 2020 - a trying time for many - led to even further evolution and innovation in her songwriting, networking, and now, home recording. Many surprising connections formed, opening the doors for a new musical chapter ripe with collaboration and co-writing. Since then, JLT has had the opportunity to dive into toplining for producers such as Melbourne-based, Achilles. Future single releases and collabs spanning ambient folk rock, r&b, hip hop, and trance are on the way.
