ŌFFKILTR swordsmen equally known for crafting cinematic hip hop odysseys, trailblazing live shows, and Natty Rhyme tasting notes. With 4 critically acclaimed full-length albums and over 600 shows in 25 different countries under their belt, ASM have established themselves as one of the pre-eminent alternative hip hop acts based in Europe today. ASM is principally composed of MC’s GT Lovecraft and FP and DJ / Producer RHINO aka Fade. This international trio of friends from high school (one Canadian, one British, one German) first gain international attention from their collaborative singles with Wax Tailor: “Positively Inclined” & “Say Yes”, and have since collaborated with the likes of MF DOOM, Chinese Man, Deluxe, Cutty Ranks, Bonobo and many more. Steadily on the road courtesy of their affiliation with Marseille-based Chinese Man Records, ASM are constantly evolving their craft with their ŌFFKILTR orbit companions in various constellations to fly the flag for jazzed-out psychedelic avant-garde hip hop. Their latest LP “The Frenzy of Bacchus” is an undeniable piece of epicurean hip-hoop soul excavation, and is their most sophisticated and focused record to date.
