ST Loxion (Sifiso Thembinkosi Fakude) was born in Barberton, Mpumalanga, and grew up in Schoemansdal, Mpumalanga, where he attended Njeyeza Secondary School before enrolling at the University of Pretoria. He started working after graduating as a mathematics teacher and decided to stay in Pretoria. He had the idea of music back then but didn't have anyone to start with.
