Valerio M
Valerio Macaluso, artistically known as Valerio M, was born on September 21, 1985, in Santo Stefano Quisquina, Sicily. A digital entrepreneur and dance/latin DJ producer, he has built an independent career combining music, image and strategy. Founder of Play Top Records, he has sold thousands of records worldwide and established his name in the club scene. In April 2012, he released the official remix of “Non è l’inferno” by Emma Marrone, winner of the 62nd Sanremo Music Festival, remaining in the iTunes charts for three years. With Bliss Corporation, he released “You Got That Thing”, featuring Jeffrey Jey of Eiffel 65. In the same period, Valerio M & Tony La Rocca ft. Kiello was born: with “Enamorada”, the project crossed borders, entering the Italian, French, Polish, American and Spanish charts. Its video became one of the most watched on YouTube Italy, was described as a summer 2013 hit and named by TG1 as the most overwhelming video, reaching stages of the Radio 105 tour. In 2016, the trio became Triomas and released “Dame Mas”, with the video distributed by VEVO. After the group split in 2017, Valerio M returned to his solo career. In 2019, he released “Ancora” with DJ Miss Even, a latin rhythm with Italian lyrics, among the best-selling records in Italy and present in the Radio Italia and Radio Margherita charts. In 2025, to mark his 40th birthday and 30 years in music, he released “40 30”; among his recent works, “Sexy Italiana” stands out, with over one million views.
