Moscow Death Brigade
MOSCOW DEATH BRIGADE is a techno/rap/punk band from Russia that plays “Circle Pit Hip-Hop”: A unique and aggressive mix of electronic music, hardcore punk and rap, steeped in graffiti and street culture and flavored with a positive social message. Initially created as a DIY team with its roots in Russian progressive social movements and graffiti underground scene, MDB made their way from self-organized gigs in basements and woods to touring with bands like Madball and becoming a regular act at world famous festivals such as With Full Force, Xtreme Fest, Boomtown Fair and others. Since 2014 Moscow Death Brigade has played more than 150 shows and festivals in Russia, Europe and the UK. Over the years MDB have raised funds for various non-profit campaigns and organizations helping orphans, homeless people, survivors of sexual and domestic violence, and victims of hate crimes among others. Some of the Russian and International non-profit organizations that Moscow Death Brigade have donated to include Women in Exile (Germany), "Sisters" Center (Rus: Центр "Сёстры"), "Enjoyable Ageing" Foundation (Rus: Фонд "Старость в радость"), Doctors Without Borders. MDB's third studio Album "Bad Accent Anthems" came out in April 2020 on Fire and Flames and Rebel Sound labels - digitally, on Vinyl and CDs. Moscow Death Brigade has more than 70 festivals and shows booked for 2021.
