Ranjit Bawa
Ranjit Singh Bajwa, known as Ranjit Bawa Bawa, born on February 15, 1989, is a prominent Punjabi singer, actor, and songwriter from Wadala Granthian near Gurdaspur. Ranjit's music journey began at a young age, and he honed his talent by participating in local competitions. His mentor, Master Mangal, encouraged him to compete, where he consistently won with the Pakistani song Mitti Da Bawa and Mitti Da Bawa 2 earning him the title 'Bawa.' In 2012, he released Jatt Di Akal his debut single, which quickly became a Punjabi music hit, marking the start of his successful career. Ranjit is known for infusing traditional Punjabi music with a modern twist, making his songs appealing to a broad audience. In 2015, Jean became a viral sensation, solidifying his position in the Punjabi music industry. He was awarded for his album Mitti Da Bawa and debut track; and earned him various awards, including PTC Punjabi Music Awards and Brit Asia Music Awards. Ranjit Bawa is not just a singer but also a talented actor, debuting in "Toofan Singh" in 2017 and later starred in films like "Bhalwan Singh" and "Mr & Mrs 420 Returns." He continued to release songs like Dollar Vs Roti ," Phulkari From "Khaao Piyo Aish Karo") “- Single” and Qurbani ," often addressing themes of love, patriotism, and Punjabi culture. Ranjit's live performances are known for their energy and stage presence, drawing large crowds.
