Sanathan Shree Krishnan is an Indian composer and singer-songwriter known for blending modern soundscapes with the timeless roots of Indian composition and musicality. With deep expertise in music production, mixing, and mastering, he has evolved into one of the most versatile and self-taught artists of his generation. Born in 2000 in Bombay, Sanathan was raised in a household where music was a way of life. His mother, a professional classical vocalist, has been performing from a young age alongside her sister as part of the well-regarded duo Ceylon Sisters. Immersed in this environment, he began learning the Mridangam at the age of eight, then taught himself piano. By fifteen, he was composing and producing music using digital audio workstations, learning the craft from the ground up. During his school years, he explored multiple genres, produced house tracks with his cousin, and scored music for short films and commercials. He later studied audio engineering through Berklee College of Music, deepening his craft with a blend of technical depth and professional rigor. Since 2018, Sanathan has composed and produced over 500 original works spanning digital platforms, films, television, and branded content. He is also known for performing with his mother in widely popular music videos, highlighting a shared musical lineage that shaped his artistic identity. His sound blends emotional expression with technical precision, reaching listeners across cultures and generations.
