Out of the pot and into the fire comes Steffani Milan, classically trained Pianist turned Singer and songwriter born to an Italian Mother in a town named Boretto & to a Greek father from Thessaloniki. Steff is channelling her distant Venezuelan heritage through Latin Trap, Reggaeton while still repping the city she lives in through the sounds of the London. She is somewhere between a reincarnation of Shakira and Ivy Queen. The experience came with a newfound sense of freedom and the chance to explore a city full of scenes and a new musical palette of sounds like Grime, Afroswing, and Drill that were exploding into the music industry on a global scale. Before choosing to be a songwriter and singer, Steffani was an actress and singer on local TV and the small stage in musicals and the experiences of performing in musicals and on live TV gave Steff the taste for being in the limelight. This foundation forms part of her ideals. Substance and performance are key to Steffani’s style. For Steff music must always have a meaning, a purpose, an intention even if it is just theatre. Steff has been working with the team at On Da Beat to create a new lane for UK Latin music while staying true to the sound of the UK and London City.
