Imany
Imany is a voice you recognize instantly — deep, radiant, and full of truth. Of Comorian descent, she has become a unique figure on the French and international music scenes, blending soul, folk, and pop with rare intensity. Her name, meaning “faith” in Swahili, reflects her journey: a free woman who left modeling in New York to dedicate herself to music in Paris. Her debut album The Shape of a Broken Heart (2011) went platinum, with You Will Never Know as a breakthrough hit. She confirmed her global reach with The Wrong Kind of War (2016), certified platinum in France and double platinum abroad, while the remix of Don’t Be So Shy became a worldwide phenomenon, diamond in France and eight times diamond internationally. In 2021, she unveiled Voodoo Cello, reimagining pop classics with eight cellos, followed by a 100-date world tour. After I Am Who I Am and the fiery single Mad, she now prepares her new album Women Deserve Rage, out October 24, 2025.
