Hank Valencia
Hank Valencia is a singer-songwriter, arranger, producer, pianist/keyboardist and music educator hailing from Manila, Philippines. Born and raised in a musically-inclined family, the eldest son of a pair of elementary school MAPEH teachers have discovered his potential in music, pursuing it more than a hobby. Currently studying in a conservatory of music at Centro Escolar University Manila taking up music education, major in Piano, Hank has been slowly exposed his musical talent to the public despite his introverted nature. He started producing music at the age of 12, though had earned his musical background during childhood: started singing at the age of 4, he had already played some instruments, such as drums & percussion at 7; guitar at 8; and especially piano at 9, but stopped for a while. Until he reached junior high school, he discovered that among all the instruments, his preferred instrument is piano. His musical style is eclectic, and had been making music in different genres: pop, rock, classical, acoustic, R&B, soul, new wave, alternative, any of these elements only made under electronic music. His learning in music technology and production is self-taught.
