MC Heam, also known as Hemant Dhyani, is a celebrated rapper, lyricist, and rap instructor based in New Delhi, India. He has emerged as one of the most distinctive voices in the Indian hip-hop scene, renowned for his versatility and impactful contributions to the genre. MC Heam wears many hats, each adorned with golden feathers that testify to his numerous achievements. His illustrious career includes collaborations with Oscar and Grammy-winning musician A. R. Rahman on projects. He catapulted to fame after participating in the popular TV reality show "MTV Hustle," where his stellar performances earned high praise. His impressive journey on the show led to him becoming a Rap Coach for "MTV Hustle" Season 2, further solidifying his status in the hip-hop community. Since 2017, MC Heam has been a dedicated rap instructor for The Dharavi Dream Project (TDDP). This initiative, situated in the heart of Dharavi—the largest slum in South Asia—serves as a cultural hub for the neighborhood's youth. TDDP offers classes to underprivileged youth, helping them harness their artistic potential and providing a platform for self-expression through music.
