REN Also known as BALASUBAS, started his music career at the age of 13, as he desired to grow in the music industry, he admired some of the biggest names in the Philippines like, Gloc 9, & the late Francis M!.The 27 year old REN began his road to RAP music by writing his own songs. In 2018 he had a huge hit called “Walang Respeto” in english it means “No Respect”. This song caught millions of eyes all over the world! he released this particular song in his own youtube channel, seeing that millions of people appreciated him & believed in his talent he continued to write more songs as BALASUBAS, namely, LIHAM, LITRATO, NNNA, PABALIK, BAHAG HARI, & LUMANG HARANA!. In the middle of 2020, one of the icons in Tagalog Rap named Andrew E. noticed him, he got invited to participate in an event hosted by Mr Andrew E himself! He became famous with his alter ego called BALASUBAS! As he began getting known in mainstream, he changed his name to his true stage name which is REN! In 2021, REN got the opportunity to signed with Sony Music Entertainment.
