Hashen Dulanjana who was born on the 19th January 2002 in Raddolugama, touched the hearts of Sri Lankans with the song "Diyawanna Kumariye" which he performed in the first round of the first international Voice Teen competition telecasted on Sirasa TV. Moreover in this journey, he also won the first crown of the Voice Teens Sri Lanka.
His love for music was developed when he was really young in age with his family background. Hashen is also an oriental music scholar who has also won All Island competitions and various singing and instrument playing competitions during his school days. He excelled in music as well as in education.
Singing a song of any generation is a strength to his development, but the voice teen competition showed that he was more inclined towards rock music. He has released four songs on his own so far for the music industry of Sri Lanka. Though he’s still 19 years old, he is brilliant in songwriting and his songs are meaningful and this shows a clear path in his music career. The songs "Coronawata nodeepan ida", "Giridew liyo", "Pili Adare", "Enna Igilenna" have different meanings, as well as the song "Nawenna Sedenna" by Hashen Dulanjana which became very popular among the youth in the performance of remaking old songs with new vocals by the Sirasa FM in recent times. The song 'Enna Igilenna' is special as it is a gift he gave to his fans.
