Beyond the Black
German symphonic metal band Beyond the Black have written an impressive story since their debut in 2015. “Songs Of Love And Death” was an instant success, staying in the German Top 15 for weeks and winning the Metal Hammer Award for “Best Debut.” Follow-up “Lost In Forever” hit #4 on the charts and led to international touring from the UK to Russia and Japan. Since their live debut in 2014, they’ve played Wacken Open Air multiple times and supported legends like Aerosmith, Korn, Scorpions, Saxon and Within Temptation. Their first own European headline tour followed in 2019 after the release of album #3, Heart of the Hurricane – with sold-out shows across 10 countries. In 2020, they released Horizons (#3 DE) and despite the pandemic, came back stronger than ever: Their self-titled fifth album Beyond the Black (2023) became their highest-charting release to date, reaching #2 in Germany and entering international charts including the UK, US and Scandinavia. After a successful 2023 festival run and their most acclaimed headline tour “Dancing In The Dark” in April 2024, the band continues to rise. Following a packed summer 2024, Beyond the Black announced their next big European headline tour “Rising High” for January 2026. In 2025, they’ll appear at major festivals such as Wacken, Hellfest and Graspop. Stay tuned for more very soon!
