Bad Computer embraces a cycle of reinvention. He emerges from 2021 artistically renewed after an introspective year, adapting to a new life on a new continent. “It's taken a long time to adjust to Finland. I needed that break of 12 months not only to experiment and find my new stylistic trajectory, but also to ground myself”. Reflection, experimentation and soul-searching opened up Bad Computer’s artistic voice, allowing him to write more expressively with the aim of creating memorable and seamless music. Pulling influence from all directions, from Owl City to Ecco2k, Bad Computer sets forward on a more thoughtful and genuine approach to songwriting. His new music eschews the guilt of a guilty pleasure, affectionately embracing cliché and truism in the pursuit of unabashed artistic freedom. “I do what I like, and if it’s trendy or cheesy I’ll do it anyway.” Sonically, Bad Computer moves from strength to strength.
