Ali Abbas
Ali Abbas is a young & dynamic Singer/Performer from Pakistan. Coming from the tradition of a musical family, singing was a natural genius of Ali which was further enhanced by his Uncles, Hassan Sadiq & Ejaz Qaisar from whom he has learned music. He is greatly influenced by the Late Ustad Mehdi Hasan Khan Saab & he considers Rafi Saab, Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Saab & Lata Mangeshkar as his idols. Ali Abbas gained immense popularity & fan following in India & all over the world by his outstanding performance in the reality show, "Lux Junoon Kuch Kar Dikhane Ka" (NDTV Imagine, 2008). Ali's soulful rendition of the song, "Kadi aa mil sanwal" was hugely appreciated not only by the audience but also by musical stalwarts like Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ila Arun, Anand Raj Anand, Salim Merchant among many others. Ali had also won the "Jury award for the Special Performer" awarded by Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan Saab in the show. Following that, Ali has been performing extensively in Pakistan & has toured India, Dubai & Europe. In Pakistan, Ali has performed in "Virsa", a TV musical program, and he was widely appreciated for his Ghazal renditions in the show. Ali has sung many OSTs for Pakistani programs like "Ishq Ebadat"(GEO TV), "Tera pyar nahi bhoole"(PTV), "Mohabbat haar mohabbat jeet"(ATV), etc. He has also sung the title track of the Indian show, "Nadaan parindey"(Life OK) along with the great singer, Richa Sharma. Recently, Times Music has released Ali's debut album, "Ishq Kamal" which is being very well received all over the world. Album link:
