There are those in professions, and those in passions. Then there are those who're in both! Meet Dr Puja Dewan -- Welcome to the official Youtube Channel! An Infertility and Test Tube baby-IVF (Assisted Reproductive Techniques-ART) Specialist; and Gynae-Endoscopic surgeon by profession, Dr Dewan started learning music at the tender age of four. Trained by Sangeet connoisseurs such as Smt. Kusum Pant, Late Pt. Tarkeshwar Prasad and Pt. Prem Prasad. She dived deeper into the world of music under the tutorship of Shrimati Urmila Nagar, a renowned danseuse, from whom she learnt Kathak (Jaipur Gharana) and Thumri form of singing. Dr Puja is currently training under Pt. Sukhdev Chaturvedi, a celebrated Dhrupad-Dhamaar exponent of Dharbhanga Gharana under the traditional Guru-Shishya parampara. With the launch of her debut album of soulful songs, 'Sumirani' Dr Dewan takes her passion for music to the next level and gives life to her long-awaited precious dream!
