Angela Parchetta is a licensed music educator and pop singer songwriter in Raleigh, NC. She attended Duquesne University (Pittsburgh, PA) and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education in 2015. Since then, Angela has spent the better half of a decade in the public middle school classroom building and running multiple award winning choral programs. She recently made the transition out of the classroom to pursue her other passion: songwriting. In Spring of 2021, she had the honor of being a semi-finalist in both the International Songwriting Competition and City Song Star Songwriting Competition. Angela uses writing as a way to understand and document her life, while hopefully helping others make sense of theirs. Drawing inspiration from pop powerhouses like Taylor Swift and Carly Rae Jepsen, her songs are anthems for life, love and finding the strength to move on and thrive. In her spare time, Angela enjoys drinking coffee and playing with her dog Mia.
