Pietann
Pietann real name Navardo Lafayette was born to parents Suzette Dallas and Desrick Lafayette on the 24th of October 1992 and grew up in a community called Spring Hill, Portland. He attended Birnmood Primary School after which he moved to Buff Bay High School.
Pietann started writing songs from an early age but he did not allow anyone to hear his vocal ability. He would listen to Jaretha McCausland his grandmother who song and played the guitar at church. Navardo was inspired by his grandmother’s love for music, so Pietann would hang around his friends and family in his community and they would beat pans and he exercise his vocals by performing for them. Pietann also enter competitions at school and get reviews from music educators which highlight to him the importance of building on his delivery.
