Jan Manuel Vázquez-Rodríguez (Acidd) is a young music composer and producer originally from Puerto Rico, but nowadays surrounded by the busy cosmopolitan rituals of NYC. A computer engineer by training and artist by devotion, he has found himself trapped in late night sessions of sound design and sensory manifestations that have given birth to his music. Inspired by other Puerto Rican urban music producers like Tainy and DJ Blass, Acidd’s songs are a cocktail of electronic, alternative and latin beats. Since 2018, he has released several singles and an album; “Alta Entropía”, “Desde Que Te Conocí Remix”, and “amorES agua” being the latest. Without lyrics, his melodies take you through a creative and sensory journey; storytelling from the deepness of self reflection on to intergalactic daydreaming. Fun fact: It is not only his music that he crafts, being also a gifted graphic design artist, he carefully creates the art on his song covers.
