Ruuth

From the northern island of Wyk auf Föhr in Germany, Ruuth, born Alina Paulsen, spent much of her time in choirs and musical rehearsals. It was only in May of 2017 that she decided to pursue music as her full time career. Her debut single “All About” hit #1 on blog aggregator Hype Machine, along with press accolades from the likes of We Found New Music, Indie Shuffle, and ZEIT Magazin. With over 4M career streams and a sold out support tour for DONSKOY last year, Ruuth is well on her way to become a household name. Pillow is the first single off of Ruuth's next chapter. Releasing one single a month and not slowing down for this year, Ruuth is showcasing a fierce re-entry to solidify her explosive start in 2018. Written by Rasmus Budny, Amanda Borjeson and Ruuth, and produced by Yann Lauren in Berlin, "Pillow" keeps a distinct pop structure while adding the unique characteristics that make Ruuth stand out from the crowd.
