Brenton Brown is a GRAMMY® Award nominated artist and songwriter from South Africa, writing for some of CCM and Gospel’s most well-known artists - Third Day, Big Daddy Weave, Amy Grant, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Chris Tomlin and others. But he’s most known for the songs he's penned for the church. Starting with All Who Are Thirsty and Lord Reign in Me on the Vineyard UK Records, to Everlasting God for Chris Tomlin, the Lord has kept Brenton writing songs that have made their way into the hearts and prayers of His people. He has received a Grammy Nomination for the song Soul On Fire - recorded and released by Third Day (11 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard Christian radio and RIAA Certified Gold). Lion And The Lamb sung by Big Daddy Weave, co-written with Leeland Mooring and Brian Johnson reached No. 2 on Christian Billboard charts and is also RIAA Certified Gold. Everlasting God co-written with Ken Riley recorded by Lincoln Brewster received a Dove Award nomination and an ASCAP Award for most played song on radio in both Christian and non-Christian formats. And You Know My Name, co-written and released with Gospel artist and Grammy winner Tasha Cobbs Leonard is RIAA Certified Platinum. Brenton’s most recent work has taken him back to his native South Africa where he is working on a worship project written in all 11 official languages of his home nation.He is also releasing American Hymnal, an affectionate tribute to the music of America that has shaped so much of his life.
