What's good! I go by the name of Swizzy Max. The nickname "Swizzy" originated from the well known artist and producer "Swizz Beatz ". Fun fact: I was a die hard Lil' Bow Wow fan, studied all albums and booklets and I read the name there somewhere in the credits. When I was brainstorming for my artist name, I literally took "Swizzy" and yes.. I forgot where I had it from! lmao. I finally added "Max" from my real last name "Maxilom" to make it personal and that's it! In my early days I've been influenced by christian praise & worship, gospel, pop and a more oldschool music by my parents and surrounding. Born and raised as a mixed boy in the Philippines, I grew up speaking three languages along with my two siblings. English, German, Cebuano (Filipino - Visayan lingo) Now.. My family then moved to Germany and my life changed drastically by the influence of the environment and the new music that I never heard before - RAP & RnB! I fell in love with the style, culture and vibes. So I began to write down some of my own rhymes, which was simple for me to create 'cause I used to watch my mother write songs from scratch, back in the Philippines.
